There is plenty to celebrate at Dungate Manor Care Home in Reigate as the award nominations keep flooding in! The home on Reigate Heath has achieved another four finalist places at upcoming care awards.
On 18th November, the Dungate Manor team will compete with the brightest in care in the South East of England at the regional Great British Care Awards in Brighton. The home’s manager Abdul Rifai is a finalist in the Care Home Manager category, while the entire Dungate Manor care team are up for the Care Home Team Award.
Then on 1st December, the best in care from across the United Kingdom will gather in Leicester for the national Caring UK Awards. Once again, the Dungate Manor care team are finalists in the Care Home Team of the Year category, while home manager Abdul has made the shortlist for the Care Employee of the Year award.
Abdul Rifai said: “It is an honour to be a finalist for these industry accolades, but I am more excited for the awards the whole team has been shortlisted for.
“Dungate Manor could not be the quality care home it is without the hard work, professionalism and dedication of the entire team. It is a collective effort and we all play a part in making it such a special place.”
The most recent nominations follow the home achieving a place in the Carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Homes in the South East Awards. Based on the feedback of residents and their loved ones, the Carehome.co.uk Top 20 Award means a great deal to the Dungate Manor team. In addition, in October, the home’s manager Abdul Rifai achieved a finalist place in the Registered Manager of the Year (South) category of the Leaders in Care Awards.
