Diamond House has a large range of activities organised by an onsite co-ordinator for both group activities and also on a one-to-one basis. There are also a variety of external companies who come into entertain the residents both regularly and seasonally.
All of the home’s rooms are en-suite and have television points, while residents also enjoy secure gardens, and spacious communal areas including dining rooms and TV lounges. The home is well situated within the community, being close to local shops and excellent transport links.

We offer first class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.
Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the full. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.
Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.
Residents have freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.

The staff at Diamond House are brilliant at caring for my aunt, from the manager to the youngest carer. At 95 my aunt is happy and content, anytime she takes a turn for the worst, help is always at hand. She is eating and sleeping better than ever. Thanks to a great team.
I would firstly like to say a big thank you on mine, dad's and the families behalf for the wonderful work you all do. Everyone is so kind and caring to all the residents. Nothing is too much trouble. You are so good to my mother and she seems so content. Her room is kept lovely and when she was moved to her new room to be nearer to the facilities, I thought that was lovely of you. We are always made welcome when we go and as we walk in all the residents in the lounge are all happy. I would definitely recommend Diamond House to anyone who asked me for a recommendation.
After viewing the local care homes we requested Diamond House, and we were lucky that a place was available. The locality, premises and staff have all been excellent for my mother's needs.
