A huge thank you to our teams for serving up a spectacular Coronation weekend for our residents across the United Kingdom.
Our homes were filled with home-baked treats, live music and a few thousand miles of bunting as families and local communities joined us to mark this momentous occasion with the people we support.
From a celebration cake delivery from the Lord-lieutenant in Aberdeen to a good old Essex ‘knees up’ in Basildon, many wonderful new memories have been made.

Alexander Court, Thetford
The team at Alexander Court in Thetford treated their residents to a live performance of Great British songs while they enjoyed a home-baked afternoon tea with their loved ones.
Avonbridge, Hamilton
At Avonbridge, the homeβs residents enjoyed watching history being made together. The home was adorned with Union Jack bunting and decorations and a delicious afternoon tea was served on the Sunday.
Cameron House, Basildon
Cameron House in Basildon came alive with the sound of live music as residents spent the afternoon dancing and celebrating with their loved ones. The team enjoyed dressing up and joining in with the dancing too!
Cranford, Aberdeen
Following a very special cake delivery from the Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeen, and a spot of pampering, the residents of Cranford kicked off their Coronation weekend with a disco on Friday evening. While on Saturday, residents’ loved ones arrived for a Coronation party where they all watched history being made together.
Lily House, Ely
The team at Lily House in Ely put on a spectacular Great British celebration for the homeβs residents and their relatives. Following a screening of the ceremony, Saturday afternoon was filled with live music, dancing and home-baked treats!
Muirton House, Blairgowrie
In Blairgowrie, our Muirton House residents came together to commemorate the Kingβs Coronation with screenings of the ceremony around the home. Great British picnic boxes were served to residents and their loved ones, including homemade cakes and biscuits.
Oake Meadows, Taunton
The main lounge at Oake Meadows in Taunton became the party hub for the home’s Coronation Celebrations. Decked out in Union Jack bunting, it was host to an afternoon tea and live music from local performer Zara King. Meanwhile, the residents’ four-legged pal Stitch made hearts melt wearing his Union Jack bowtie!
