Dove Court Care Home in Wisbech, part of Larchwood Care, held a special community-focused celebration to honor the decade-long service of manager Nicole Thompson.
The day’s festivities included bingo, karaoke, and mocktails, ensuring plenty of enjoyment for both residents and visitors. Additionally, guided tours were available, showcasing the home’s commitment to creating a welcoming and thoughtfully planned environment for all its residents.
The event promised a vibrant day filled with community spirit, fun activities, and a presentation by Larchwood Care’s chief executive, Tony Stein.
Under Nicole’s leadership, Dove Court has become known for its compassionate, professional care, particularly in the areas of dementia and respite care. Reflecting on her decade at Dove Court, Nicole Thompson said: “It has been a privilege to lead Dove Court and witness the impact we make in our residents’ lives. I have an amazing team, with many long-standing colleagues, and they go above and beyond to provide the highest quality of care. This celebration not only marks my personal journey but also the growth and success of our entire community here at Dove Court.”
Tony Stein, chief executive, honored Nicole’s dedicated service during the event. He said: “Nicole’s commitment to excellence in care is evident in everything she does. She embodies the spirit and values of Larchwood Care, making her an invaluable leader in our organisation.”
It was a wonderful day with the Mayor, Mayoress, local people and media which highlighted the synergy between quality care and vibrant community life that Dove Court Care Home prided itself on.
