At Larchwood Care, we believe that kindness has the power to brighten someone’s day and uplift spirits. That’s why we’re proud to share the heartwarming activities carried out by our dedicated Community Champions during Random Acts of Kindness Week. From small to grand gestures, our care homes came together to spread joy and gratitude throughout their local communities.
Appleby Care Home: A big thank you to Elaine, the homes kindness angel, for delivering chocolates to the community. The team and residents appreciate the support of our local community and services in making our residents’ lives brighter.
Avonbridge Care Home: The Home extended invitations to the local Fire Station for breakfast, expressing their gratitude to the GP Surgery, and delivered delicious cakes and pastries to the local restaurant, JunkYard. Additionally, they offered a heartfelt thank you gift to Anne, their dedicated volunteer Eucharistic Minister, for her weekly visits to provide Holy Communion and spiritual support to residents.
Briar House Care Home: Delivered cupcakes and brownies to the local doctor’s surgery and community nurses, showing appreciation for their exceptional care and support for our residents.
Cranford Care Home: Visited their friends at Mannofield Church and Garthdee Medical Group to express gratitude for their warm welcome and unwavering support.
Diamond House Care Home: A random act of kindness was extended to the dial-a-bus service, West Norfolk Community Transport & Shopmobility, spreading joy and appreciation throughout our community.
Oake Meadows Care Home: Expressed their immense gratitude to College Way Surgery for their dedicated care of our residents by sharing chocolates as a token of appreciation.
During Random Acts of Kindness Week, our Community Champions went above and beyond to spread love, joy, and gratitude. These acts of kindness not only brightened the days of those around but also strengthened the bonds within the homes communities. We are proud to be part of a team that prioritises kindness and compassion in everything we do.
Thank you to all our teams, residents, and community members for joining us in spreading kindness and positivity. Together, we can make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
