Lily House Care Home, part of Larchwood Care, proudly announces that it has become the first care service in Cambridgeshire to receive the prestigious Care Inspections UK (CiUK) certificate. This achievement underscores the home’s dedication to providing high-quality care in a family-oriented environment.
The certification was awarded after a comprehensive inspection by Care Inspections UK (CiUK), the sole registered and accredited care home inspection body in the UK. Lily House met all the stringent standards, including those required under the British Standard BS8606:2019, which provides guidelines for delivering support, personal, nursing, and specialist care within a residential setting.
Located just a short distance from the heart of the beautiful cathedral city of Ely, Lily House is renowned for its professional team that delivers exceptional residential and dementia care, all within a genuinely caring culture.
Kerry Clifton, manager of Lily House, expressed her pride:
“Receiving the CiUK certificate is a proud moment for all of us here at Lily House. It recognises our commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our residents.”
Tony Stein, Chief Executive of Larchwood Care, added:
“This achievement is testament to the hard work and dedication of Kerry and her team. It not only demonstrates our care quality but also reinforces our position as leaders in the healthcare sector. We are thrilled to see Lily House setting such high standards.”
In addition to this certification, Lily House is rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
This milestone reinforces Lily House’s commitment to excellence and highlights its role as a leader in the provision of residential care in the UK.
